Who can be part of the Sandston PTA?

All parents, teachers, guardians, family members, community members and staff who have an interest in our S.T.A.R.S education, health, safety and welfare are encouraged to join our Sandston PTA.

Memberships dues help cover the operating expenses of our Sandston organization. Membership forms will be sent home with students, available at meetings, or in the front office of school. Cash or check are preferred methods of payment. Please make sure all forms or payments sent to school, are in a sealed envelope labeled "PTA membership". Thank you for your support and membership.

What does the PTA do for our S.T.A.R.S?

Our members contribute significantly to our S.T.A.R.S educational, health, safety and welfare by participating and volunteering their time towards educational achievements that involve before, during, and after school activities. The PTA also provides up-to-date information on what is going on at Sandston Elementary School and the upcoming events. As a Sandston PTA member, you help our S.T.A.R.S shine, you can interact with the principal, decide how to make and spend PTA funds, and work with other dedicated parents and teachers at every meeting.

PTA Calendar of Events

All meetings take place at the beginning of school events and will last about 15 minutes. The allocated time allows our S.T.A.R.S to prepare for their special night and gives our community time to hear the current PTA news.
